to feel and to be-live

"When you carry out acts of kindness you get a wonderful feeling inside. It is as though something inside your body responds and says, yes, this is how I ought to feel."

- Rabbi Harold Kushner

"It is my belief that whereas the twentieth century has been a century of war and untold suffering, the twenty-first century should be one of peace and dialogue. As the continued advances in information technology make our world a truly global village, I believe there will come a time when war and armed conflict will be considered an outdated and obsolete method of settling differences among nations and communities."

-His Holiness the Dalai Lama

My desire to share the hope that the Dali Lama has for our planet is so great, yet as I envision this "global village" with plethora upon plethora of communication, It's all I can do to keep myself from envisioning a stadium full of gossips squaking about events that never happened and wasting away.

I fear that those who are able to rise above this sort of uselessness are indeed a strange breed, strange and rare too. I hope that I am an idiot.
I noticed your blog had something to do with Pilates. We've been thinking about adding a Pilates program to our Karate School as an alternative aerobic activity. I really enjoyed the info on your site.
